I've been having a big problem getting web-based images to show up Goggle App Inventor apps. I've been capturing the pictures urls correctly from
RSS feeds. I found out that the issue was that the string was coming out in quotes. When the blocks get the the urls from
Python they have quotes around it. If I strip the quotes off the string, the images display great in the app. Whew! Only took 2 months to figure that out!!!!
